| Oakland Public Library staff may be able to fax you information in response to your question. We can send a maximum of 5 pages per customer per fax (not including the cover sheet) and a maximum of two faxes to one fax number per month. Every effort will be made to provide you with as prompt a response as possible. Please allow us up to two business days (Mon-Fri) to respond. Our fax service is primarily intended for customers within the Oakland Public Library service area (Oakland, Emeryville and Piedmont). We can send faxes outside our service area in response to requests for information from sources that are held only in Oakland Public Library collections. We are unable to fax material, such as sheet music, when copyright law prohibits it. We are also unable to fax material where lease agreements with publishers prohibit photocopying. |
