Another month has almost passed, and as hard as it is to believe, November is bearing down upon us. The good news is that, although it is getting colder and darker, the library is still light & bright and full of fun things for you to do!
What do we have coming next month? Well, as always, we have storytimes, lawyers to help you with your legal questions, and book clubs galore! This month, though, we also have a Diwali Celebration, a Native American Culture Day, an urban arts workshop for teens, SAT practice exams, author talks by Joyce Maynard, Cecile Pineda and Rickey Vincent and a visit from photographer Nancy Duranteau. All that and oh so much more!
You can find a list of all our events online where you can filter by location and by audience age intended. If you are a bit old school, though, and dig the print calendar, I totally understand because I do too! You can't circle or highlight your favorite things on a webpage! So, stop by your local branch next week to pick up the November print calendar, take it home, mark it up, and come see us at all of our fabulous November events.
In the meantime, see a sneak peek here!
