FREE Tour for Teens! SuperAwesome: Art and Giant Robot at the Oakland Museum of CA

Explore the work of 15 artists associated with the groundbreaking magazine Giant Robot, an ahead-of-its-time celebration of Asian American pop and alternative culture. Featuring mural art, sculpture, illustration, portraiture, large-scale installations, graphic novels, photography, zines, vinyl toys, clothing, vending machines, and an interactive car-turned-videogaming station, this exhibition has something for everyone.

FREE TOUR  for ages 12 - 19 generously hosted by OMCA.

Space is limited and parental permission is required for ages under 18.  Visit the Asian Branch Library or e-mail tasianbranch@gmail.com to sign-up and receive a copy of the permission slip.

We will meet at the Oak St. entrance of the museum, adjacent to the large mural by Andrew Hem, and then begin the tour.  There will be time to look at the exhibits, play games, get art from the vending machines, and hang out!
