Join us for an author talk with Asian American author, Marjorie Sayer

Step into the streets of China in 1902 as Zun sets out to avenge her father's death and rescue her mother.

Marjorie  will read from her novel, The Girl Mechanic Of Wanzhou, first runner up for the Scholastic Asian Book Award 2011.  She’ll take your questions about bicycles, what it was like to be a Chinese girl in 1902, martial arts, and adventure. 

For children 3rd grade and up.
