Social Justice Book Club for Teens (LGBTQ+ Pride Month)

Like to read and talk about social justice? Come join Social Justice Book Club! A monthly book club that encourages members to read any book that within falls within a specific theme. In honor of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, the theme for June will be on the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and queer rights and activism.

Some suggested titles to explore coming soon.

Social Justice Book Club is an opportunity for young people to get together to share knowledge and deepen our analysis of power in the world today. We will meet on the third Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise specified. Snacks provided! For youth ages 12 to 18. Questions? Call Linda, teen services librarian, at 510-238-3400.
