Consumer Fraud: Scams Targeting Seniors and Tips for Protection and Prevention

Sponsored by E-Government Literacy at the Library and Legal Assistance for Seniors, this seminar will explain identity theft in its different forms, provide practical tips on how to recognize and prevent identity theft, discuss common scams and forms of fraud, and provide information on referral sources and where to get help.  There will also be a demonstration on identifying and using e-government resouces to help prevent identity theft.
