Are you up for a challenge? Scientific Adventures for Families (SAFG) presents a new STEAM project each month, designed to put your creative, collaborative mind to the test. This spring, we'll be doing "Storybook Science: Engineering by the Book" programs. In February, join us for a program based on Yoon and the Jade Bracelet by Helen Recorvits: Create a bracelet featuring binary code to share a message, just like Yoon's bracelet!

This program is part of a 2018-19 partnership between Golden Gate and Scientific Adventures; all classes run from 3:30-5:00 on the last Thursday of each month. Our winter/spring dates are as follows:

  • February 28: Binary Code Bracelets
  • March 28: Water Filter Systems
  • April 25: Exploring Owl Pellets
  • May 30: Hot and Cold Reactions
