Two Workshops for Grantseekers
The Foundation Center presents two afternoon workshops for grantseekers. Attend one or both. Starting at 2 pm, “How to Approach a Foundation” will cover how to initiate contact with potential funders; how to plan calls and meetings, including site visits; and how to effectively communicate with funders during the grant process. Starting at 3:30 pm, “You Got the Grant! Now What?” is designed to help you successfully manage life after the grant. You will learn about the best practices in managing the reports and the communication required to build long term partnerships with foundations, ultimately leading to more opportunities for support. The Oakland Public Library is a Foundation Center Cooperating Collection.
