Volunteer Information Sessions

Interested in volunteering at the library?  Come to this information session to learn more about our volunteer opportunities for adults.

Meet with program representatives and other volunteers from the following groups:

  • Books for Wider Horizons
  • Second Start Adult Literacy
  • Computer docents at Elmhurst and MLK branches
  • Friends of the Oakland Public Library and the Bookmark Bookstore
  • The Library Advisory Commission
  • The Summer Lunch Program (site coordinators and shorter-term volunteers)
  • Adopt a Spot clean-ups and garden maintenance at various OPL locations
  • and more…

There is another Volunteer Information Session at the Melrose Branch on Saturday, April 5th at 11:00 am.
