"War in Your Life" Essay Contest for Adults and Teens

How has war affected you, someone you know, your community, or the world? Are you yourself a veteran and want to share your story? Issues of war, peace and militarism impact all our lives. Tell your story in an essay of up to 1000 words. We will accept submissions online via email, and also in paper, at all locations, starting Monday, October 20 through Monday, November 17, 2014. There will be two tracks - one for teens ages 13 to 18; another for adults ages 19 and up. There will be one prize for each age group: a 16 GB iPad mini! The guidelines and judging criteria are available here.
