On Monday, May 27th, the library will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday. All branch locations will be closed on Tuesday, May 28th. The Main Library will be open on Tuesday, May 28th.
An Evening with Maria Nieto
Maria will read from her first work of fiction, entitled Pig Behind the Bear. It's 1971, and reporter Alejandra Marisol becomes embroiled in a murder mystery surrounding the death of famed LA Times reporter Rubén Salazar.
