From Age-ing to Sage-ing: Growing Whole, Not Old
What does it mean to age in today's world?
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore ways of living a vital and engaged second half of life.
Janet Elaine Piggins, LCSW, will lead discussion and exercises based on the book From Age-ing to Sage-ing: A Profound New Image of Growing Older by Zalman Schachter-Shalomi.
You'll be guided to reflect on the skills, abilities, and experiences that you've gathered over time.
You will then be encouraged to consider how to use this acquired wisdom to support and encourage the next generation in ways that are meaningful to you.
Janet Elaine Piggins is a social worker who has worked in the fields of gerontology, aging, and hospice.
