FWD ("One Hundred for One Hundred": Part 2) (OFFSITE EVENT AT OAKLANDARTWORKS.COM) with Opening reception
"FWD," the second part of "One Hundred for One Hundred," a series of events and exhibitions conceived to commemorate the the first year of the second century of public service by the Temescal Branch Library, is an exhibition of wall art installed in a salon style. Art work will be from published zines, artist books, etc.
Participating artists and writers will be invited, also, to make their work available for sale. The exhibition will be offsite at Deco Arts, 5495 Claremont Avenue, right up the street from the Temescal Branch Library.
An opening reception will occur on Friday March 15, 7:00-9:00 p.m., and the show will be open to the public, too, on Saturday March 16, noon-4:00 p.m.
Stop by the Temescal Branch Library, too, for other activities that day. Look for them in the events calendar. FWD is produced through a collaboration of volunteer curators convened to help commemorate the centennial of the Temescal Branch Library.
