North Oakland Restorative Justice Council and Neighborhood Council 10Y (formerly Beat 10Y Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council) are excited to announce our North Oakland Community Restorative Justice Training in partnership with the Temescal Branch Library. The training will take place on April, 28, 2018, in the library's Community Room. The training will cover the indigenous roots of restorative justice along with contemporary restorative justice practices. We will learn how to engage restorative justice in the community as we look towards a restorative Oakland. Participants must RSVP online at: https://goo.gl/forms/ELlfEO9G7BV1rw6g1 and must commit to participating in the entire training. The workshop is limited to 25 people, so please only RSVP if you can make the training in its entirety.
