Celebrate African American History Month at the West Oakland Branch!
In celebration of Black History Month, the West Oakland Branch Library is hosting the 23rd Annual African American Celebration through Poetry. This year's theme: The 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington
Poets of all ages, especially those sharing their work for the first time, are encouraged to participate. This event is free and open to the public.
