Search the Internet - Indexes & Search Engines

  • Librarians' Index to the Internet - An outstanding menu-based gateway to a wide variety of Internet resources, evaluated and selected by librarians. This used to be the Berkeley Public Library's index to the web.
  • Search the Internet - This site, maintained by UC Berkeley, is a gateway to a number of different Internet "Search Engines".
  • The Internet Public Library - "The first public library of and for the Internet community", founded at the University of Michigan School of Information.
