Currently on Exhibit
Join us during the month of July to enjoy the mixed acrylics and mixed media creations by local artist JaeMe Bereal. Ms. Bereal says that "Art flows like water through us. One can sense it (see it) as it floods (flows into) your psyche, sometimes feeling like a roaring river, yet other times like the trickle of a small stream."
JaeMe graduated from both the Academy of Art University in 2003 and California Berkeley Art Studio in 1981. Her art work has been published in several works, most notably the cover for Deborah Santana's Memoirs in 2003 and a children's book on Augusta Savage in 2009 called, In Her Hands, with writer Alan Schroeder.
In addition to being a painter, she is a great salsa dancer and loves animals! You can see more of JaeMe's work on her website: jaemebereal.com.
