Adding to its collections of books in foreign languages, the Oakland Public Library now has books in Arabic. The Library's newest collection was started in response to increasing requests for books in Arabic. Currently, the collection includes 70 adult and 70 juvenile titles. The adult books are at the Main Library, while children's books in Arabic are held at the Dimond and Temescal branches. The collection will grow as it is used and as the Library continues to assess the growing need.
