NASA Sending Astronaut to Oakland Public Library

Taking a short break from conducting research at zero gravity, a NASA astronaut is going to drop in at the 81st East Oakland Community Library to talk to kids. This special event, on Saturday, March 10 at 1pm, is part of NASA's Destination Station campaign promoting awareness of research on the International Space Station. Astronaunt Rex Walheim will make a fun and educational presentation that future space explorers (as well as adults commited to Earth-bound careers) are sure to enjoy. The 81st Avenue East Oakland Community Library is located at 1021 81st Avenue.

This is a free event, open to all.
