How do I pay Library fines and fees online?
To pay your library fines and fees online, you have to log in to your account online and make payments from your online account using a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card.
What kinds of Library fines and fees can I pay online?
You SHOULD NOT pay fines on your lost interlibrary loan (ILL) or Link+ items. You should always call our ILL/Link+ office at (510) 238-2124 on charges on interlibrary loan or Link+ items. All other library fines and fees listed in your library account can be paid online.
Can I ask for refunds on payments paid online if I find my lost items after I have paid the fines online?
No. Payments made online are NOT refundable. You should examine your fines and fees carefully and be sure you agree with the charges before making a payment online. If you are not sure you agree with the charges, or if you have questions, please consult a staff member BEFORE you pay. When my account will be credited for payments made online?
Your library account will be credited immediately after your online payment is approved by your credit card company.
Can I pay my Library fines and fees with a debit card?
Yes, as far as it is issued by a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover Card company and has the company's logo on it.
Can I pay my Library fines and fees from my personal PayPal account?
No. You have to pay from your online Library account.
Can I pay my Library fines and fees with a credit/debit card other than a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card, or with my PayPal credit?
No. Payments have to be made with a Visa, Master, or Discover card.
