Library branches will be closed on Monday, January 20 for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The African American Museum & Library at Oakland (AAMLO) will remain open regular business hours (10 AM - 5:30 PM) on January 20 for its annual film festival.
At Oakland Public Library, we love bikes and the people who ride them, so we do our best to support bike riders all year long. Here are some of the things we offer:
Bike locks and tire pumps are available to use at almost all branches, with the following exceptions.
- Eastmont has only a pump; no locks.
- Bike supplies at Temescal Branch are kept downstairs in the Oakland Tool Lending Library.
