Asian Branch

The Asian Branch TeenZone is a unique and welcoming space for teens to visit with new comfortable seating surrounded by bookshelves with popular and educational materials.

Currently, the Young Adult collection has about 4,000 items in both English and Chinese, including fiction, non-fiction, magazines, graphic novels, manga, video games, music CDs, and DVDs.

Our fiction collection focuses on award-winning and popular titles with an emphasis on Asian American authors. The non-fiction includes titles related to pop culture, test preparation, college information, and teen-related topics.

We have ongoing volunteer opportunities and an active Teen Advisory Group. There is also a bulletin board and binder full of local opportunities in employment, education, recreation, and more.

Stop by during the Asian Branch Library's regular business hours, or check the library's event calendar for branch programs. We have frequent library programs on Saturdays in addition to a regular Game & Craft Day every Wednesday from 3:30-5pm during the school year.
