On Monday, May 27th, the library will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday. All branch locations will be closed on Tuesday, May 28th. The Main Library will be open on Tuesday, May 28th.
Asian Branch
The Asian Branch Teen area is a unique and welcoming space for teens to visit with new comfortable seating surrounded by bookshelves with popular and educational materials.
Currently, the Young Adult collection has about 5,000 items in both Chinese and English, including fiction, non-fiction, magazines, graphic novels, manga, video games, CDs and DVDs.
Our fiction collection focuses on award-winning and popular titles with an emphasis on Asian American authors. The non-fiction includes high-interest materials, test preparation, college information, and teen-related topics.
We have ongoing volunteer opportunities and an active Teen Advisory Board. We also host regular programs from jewelry making to button making and video games. Stop by during the Asian Branch Library's regular business hours, or check the library's event calendar for branch programs.
