The Oakland Public Library has engaged The Hawkins Company, an Executive Search firm, to assist the in recruiting candidates to serve as the new Chief Curator for the African American Museum and Library at Oakland (AMMLO).  We would like for you to share your thoughts and ideas about the qualifications, qualities, and characteristics that would make an ideal candidate for the Chief Curator of AAMLO.

We invite you to attend a community Town Hall meeting on either Wednesday, March 21st  6-7 p.m. or Thursday, March 22nd  9:30-10:30 am. These are two identical sessions, an evening and a morning session, in order to best accommodate public availability.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas. Your input will help us develop the job criteria for the Chief Curator of AAMLO.

We thank you for your on-going work, attention and commitment to the Oakland community.

If you are unable to attend the Town Hall meetings, we invite you to take a survey and share your thoughts here:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AAMLO_Chief_Curator
