Saturday Children’s Story Hour

Travel across time and visit different parts of the world through the magic of reading. Our books acquaint us with people, places, and events, (both real and fictional) that shape our understanding of African Americans, others in the African diaspora, and peoples of the African continent.

Ezra J. Keats reveals in Peter’s Chair, a boy who learns to accept that he will soon have a baby sister. Peter then joins his father in the fun of painting the old baby chair from blue to pink. (November 2)
