Journey with local writers Natalie Devora, Andrea Canaan, Jenee Darden, Andreana Clay, Jewel Gomez, Kira Allen, and Tureeda Mikell as they explore the life and work of Toni Morrison (1931-2019). A recipient of numerous awards, including the Nobel Prize in Literature, Morrison focused on themes such as love, friendship, race, and oppression. The presenters will examine how Morrison’s themes resonate in their own writings.
