Reginald Dwayne Betts - Writing Workshop and Discussion with Teens

A Question of Freedom by Reginald Dwayne Betts

At sixteen, Reginald Dwayne Betts participated in a carjacking and landed a nine-year prison sentence. Betts shares not only his transformative tale from prisoner to scholar, poet, and Yale Law graduate, but also uses his experiences to speak to important issues surrounding the American criminal justice system.

Write with Reginald Dwayne Betts and join a discussion about life after incarceration, writing, and poetry!

Teens (ages 12 - 18) will receive a FREE copy of his memoir A Question of Freedom.
