Family STEAM Night: Slime-O-Rama!

STEAM at Oakland Public Library

Join us for Family STEAM* Night: SLIME-O-RAMA, a SLIME extravaganza at the Main Library! 

This event is the second in a series of community building, hands-on, exploratory evening programs for families. 


Dinner will be served! (Vegetarian and Vegan options will be provided.)

Four our second Family STEAM night, participants will explore making SLIME at various stations. Participants will learn about the scientific method, states of matter, and other scientific concepts while having fun!

Space is limited.  Please RSVP by calling the Children's Room at 238-3615. 

Attendance is limited to 20 children ages 8 - 12 and their caregivers. 

Funding for this program has been generously provided by grants from Friends of the Oakland Public Library (FOPL) and the Association of Children's Librarians of Northern California (ACL).
