Radical Mycology

Cover of the book "Radical Mycology: A Treatise on Seeing & Working with Fungi"

Fungi are everywhere around us. They form complex symbioses with plants and animals - critical roles that keep all ecological webs intact. Mushrooms and other fungi are deeply woven in the history of the Earth and all human cultures. Today, mycology (the study of fungi) offers great potential for addressing a wealth of global issues.

Author Peter McCoy is touring across the US to share a wealth of information from his new book, Radical Mycology: A Treatise on Seeing and Working with Fungi. This event will be a reading // presentation // show & tell on fungal ecology, mushroom cultivation, mycoremediation, and more.

Founded in 2006, Radical Mycology is a grassroots movement based on teaching the importance of mushrooms and other fungi for personal, societal, and ecological resilience.
