Montclair Book Club

Join us in celebrating Montclair Library’s 90th anniversary in 2020 with a year long book club featuring books set in Oakland! From fiction to non-fiction, mysteries to cookbooks, we’ll explore our city through six books sure to provoke thought and spark interesting discussions. The book club will meet on a second Tuesday evening every other month (January 7, March 10, May 12, July 14, September 15 and November 10).

January 7,  Oakland: The Story of a City by Beth Bagwell.

March 10, The 57 Bus: a true story of two teenagers and the crime that changed their lives by Dashka Slater.
