Kamishibai - Japanese Paper Theater

Librarian Erica presents Kamishibai - "paper theater" - a traditional form of story telling popular in Japan during the 1920s to 1950s.  

Nibble on Japanese treats as you see stories from a variety of countries performed in English on the back of a bicycle.  Three Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm and three Saturday mornings at 10:30 am, at Rockridge Library, plus a bonus presentation at the Oakland Museum on Friday, May 29th, at 6:30 pm.
