How to Build a Water-Saving Laundry to Landscape Greywater System

Greywater system

Drought or no drought, conserving water is a good thing.  Reusing greywater — lightly used water from laundry, sinks and bathing — for your garden is an easy and inexpensive way to reduce water usage.  In this workshop, Len Edmondson, founder of Albany-based Grateful Roots (, will combine practical advice and hands-on activities to show you how to install a simple, no-permit-required, Laundry to Landscape greywater system using tools available from the Oakland Tool Lending Library.  All tools and materials for use in the class will be provided.

Please note that attendance is limited to first 35 people to arrive.
