St. Joseph's Home for the Aged, located at 2647 International Blvd., Oakland, Calif., was constructed in 1912 by the Little Sisters of the Poor. It was later converted into an office complex called the St. Joseph's Professional Center, and in 1984 given Oakland landmark status. In 2010-12 BRIDGE Housing Corp. converted the complex into a low income senior housing facility called St. Joseph’s Senior Apartments.
