Request a Class Visit

Schedule a Class Visit

Bring your class to the library, or request a classroom visit.

We prioritize requests based on:

  • The order they are received

  • Staff capacity

  • The scope of the request

When capacity is limited, we may:

  • Prioritize visits to under-resourced schools.

Please fill out the form below to request a classroom visit.

Please allow two weeks for a response. A library staff member will contact you to confirm the date, time, and details of your visit.

We will do our best to accommodate as many groups or events as we can! Send an email  to eAnswers@oaklandlibrary.org if you have any questions.

If you would like to request that the library  attend a large school-wide outreach event, please use the Outreach Request Form.

The class roster should include full names and birth dates. We will respond with a list of students that do not have an OPL card, and what they'll need to do to get cards.
