Meeting and Study Rooms

Many Oakland Public Library branches have meeting rooms available for public use. All meeting rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Before booking a meeting room, please read our Meeting Room Policy.

81st Avenue Branch has two study rooms. You can reserve them and use them for up to two hours at a time, for up to six (6) people.

The Rockridge Library has a ZenBooth. You can reserve the room for up to one hour a day, for up to three people.

Your reservation is not complete until you receive an email confirmation that your reservation is approved.

Meeting Room FAQs

Submit an application, opens a new window for your selected meeting room.
No, the meeting room can only be used during the library’s open hours.
No, the meeting room can only be used within your scheduled time.

When booking the meeting room, please be sure to include time to set up, take down, and leave.
Your meeting room application can be submitted between two weeks and 90 days in advance of your requested reservation time.
Meeting rooms do not offer cooking equipment or kitchen supplies.
All meeting rooms (except for Lakeview) allow eating.
