Meeting Rooms

Many Oakland Public Library branches have meeting rooms available for public use. All meeting rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Before booking a meeting room, please read our Meeting Room Policy.

Study Rooms

81st Avenue Branch has two study rooms. You can reserve them and use them for up to two hours at a time, for up to six (6) people.

The Rockridge Library has a ZenBooth. You can reserve the room for up to one hour a day, for up to three people.

Your reservation is not complete until you receive an email confirmation that your reservation is approved.

Meeting Room FAQs

  • Submit an application, opens a new window for your selected meeting room
  • No, the meeting room can only be used during the library’s open hours.
  • No, the meeting room can only be used within your scheduled time.
     
    When booking the meeting room, please be sure to include time to set up, take down, and leave
  • Your meeting room application can be submitted between two weeks and 90 days in advance of your requested reservation time.   
  • Meeting rooms do not offer cooking equipment or kitchen supplies.

  • All meeting rooms (except for Lakeview) allow eating.
