Lakeview Branch Artist Exhibit
Thank you for your interest in showing your art work at the Lakeview Branch of the Oakland Public Library! We recommend that your pieces be around 16x20 as the showing space is high on the wall and at that size range the pieces will be easier to see. We also suggest you have 10 to 20 pieces ready. The space is large and its nice to have most of the walls full. Please have your work ready to be able to be hang on hooks, we cannot accommodate having pieces stuck to the wall with anything. A few things to note: We ask that you bring an assistant or two with you to install and take down your artwork. We can provide a ladder but are unable to assist with the installation or take down of any art due to staffing and the branch's scheduling needs. Please keep in mind that installations and take downs take place on Friday mornings and, unfortunately, we are unable to schedule outside of that window. Once your inquiry is received and reviewed, someone from Lakeview Branch will contact you with any questions, clarification, and potential dates for your exhibit. We are currently displaying art work for eight weeks with the installation happening on the Friday of the first week and the take down occurring on the Friday of the last week."*" indicates required fields
