Welcome to a wholesome, nourishing November at the Oakland Public Library! We're bringing back nostalgic board game nights with friends and family for International Games Month and sharing specially curated cookbook lists to help you recipe plan for family get togethers and food holidays. Most importantly, we'd like to honor Native American Heritage month with a special shout out to Oakland author Tommy Orange for winning the MacArthur Fellowship and with a list of books by Native American authors you should read.
