This week's theme, borrowed from the City of Oakland Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Development: Spirit Week.
There's certainly a ton of community spirit being celebrated at the library. Oakland has so many diverse neighbors -- it's something we're very proud of. This week includes:
- Soul 4Kidz (@Eastmont branch Monday at 1:00)
- Unique Derique (@Chavez branch Tuesday at 1:30)
- Cunamacué Family Dance (@West Oakland branch Wednesday at 2:00)
- various crafts in the Build Make Play program
- along with much more! Our full events calendar (for all ages) will tell you what's up. Remember, all library locations will be closed on Thursday, June 19th.
Imagine your dream trip. What kind of adventures would you go on?
Wave your flag proudly! How are you invested in the spirit of your community?
