About Lakeview Branch

  • Take Grand Avenue exit from 580 East or 580 West. Turn right onto Grand Avenue. Turn left into driveway between the park and the library (building with mural). Library will be on your right.

  • Free parking lot for patrons. Paid street parking. Parking is limited and difficult to get. Public transit is recommended instead.

  • The Lakeview Branch has a meeting room that can be reserved here, opens a new window. The meeting room can hold 25 people. It has two large wooden tables, chairs, and a podium. This library branch does not have a public restroom.

  • Single-story building. Main entrance is 550 El Embarcadero with a railing. Secondary entrance is on the parking lot side of the building with low-slope ramp, power assisted doors, rail. Accessible work station(s), Accessible self-service checkout, Accessible parking, accessible parking is for the whole neighborhood not just the library.
