National Library Week is April 23-29

Celebrate all the ways Libraries are more than just a story!

It's almost National Library Week, opens a new window. Come celebrate with OPL, April 23-29, 2023.

While it's true that the Library has a lot of stories - be it fiction or nonfiction or eBooks or audiobooks. But there's so much more to the story of libraries. OPL empowers community members to explore, connect, and grow through the array of entertainment, education, and free resources we offer. From storytimes, to book clubs, to gardening workshops, we've got events for all ages.

OPL also provides practical tools such as internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for job seekers, as well as physical tools like our Tool Lending Library, bike locks and repair tools, and our new hiking backpacks.

Stop by for a visit to celebrate with us during National Library Week, April 23-29.

First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association, opens a new window and libraries of all types across the country each April.
