The TAB at Rockridge has been hard at work, not letting the pandemic stop them from supporting the library in whatever way they can. One of the exciting things they have been doing is reviewing books and publishing the reviews for other teens.

My name is Ellena Ancheta and I’m the Volunteer Coordinator at TAB. I am passionate about helping our community and encouraging more leadership in students. I see myself as a creative artist and I’m always looking for a new challenge. My hobbies include drawing, playing violin and piano, and dancing. And lately, I’ve been reading more and catching up on some me time. I look forward to working in the Rockridge Library and helping folks around here! 😀
Hello my name is Yacine Seck, I’m a 16 year old at Oakland Technical High and the Co-President of Rockridge Teen Advisory Board. I enjoy baking, writing, shopping and of course, reading. I’ve been reading for as long as I can remember. My favorite genres are High Fantasy, Mystery, and Horror, but I’m open to reading anything else! I hope my book reviews will encourage you to read new books!
Hi everyone my name is Christina Archibald, I'm a junior at Life Academy and a TAB member. I play volleyball and do archery when I can, which isn’t often anymore - pandemic thingz. I honestly read the silliest things like graphic novels and coming of age books but I’m looking to open my book range.
My name is Dallia, and I am a junior at Oakland Tech. I have been a part of TAB since my freshman year of high school. I like to read, watch animal documentaries, and I’m always down to hike! I’m into reading books in the genre of Fantasy, Mystery, and Analytics. I hope others are able to discover new books through our blog.
Hi! My name is Greer Nakadegawa-Lee. I’m a junior at Oakland Tech and I’ve been a TAB member since middle school. In my free time I like to write poetry and draw (I did the icons for everyone in this group!) My favorite books are On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden and Don’t Go Without Me by Rosemary Valero-O'Connell. My favorite genres are romance, realistic and historical fiction, and graphic novels. I hope you like our book reviews!
