The days are growing shorter and the nights colder and longer. This is a time when I like to focus on creative expression and start new projects. I also love making my own gifts to give around the holidays and throughout the year. I know there are many other creative people out there, so I've gathered together some books that I hope will help nurture your creative spirit.
Looking for a more hands-on approach? Check out Creativebug, an online resource available on our website that offers video art classes. When you log in with your OPL library card number and PIN, you'll be asked to set up an account. Then you'll have access to many art instruction videos from quilting, to baking, to jewelry making. There's also a section called Daily Practice where you'll receive daily prompts for thirty days to help you launch your craft project.
Happy crafting!
