Advice for Readers: Transgender Awareness Month

Happy Transgender Awareness Month! Each year, the week of November 13th-19th is Transgender Awareness Week, which aims to raise awareness about transgender experiences, issues, and lives. The week ends with Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), which takes place November 20th and is an annual observance to honor transgender people who have lost their lives to hate crimes and violence.
