I'm an avid reader and love nothing more than spending hours reading my favorite authors, but sometimes I have trouble concentrating on longer works. I still want to read, but my attention span is short. During these times short story collections are a perfect answer to "What should I read next?" I feel the satisfaction from reading a piece from start to finish without having to commit to an entire novel. Sometimes I even dip in and out of different collections. Here are a few of my recent favorites. Some are newer publications. Others are old favorites. I hope you enjoy them, too!
