#TipTuesday: “Do you have games on your phone?”

👦"Do you have games on your phone?"

🧍‍♀️ No, but I have books. 🤷‍♀️

So many of us, especially those of us with children, are familiar with that question. Finally, you can offer the kids in your life a safe option for browsing age appropriate comics, picture books, graphic novels, and other materials on your phone, tablet, or mobile smart device without worry.

Hoopla has a "Kids mode" that you can turn on and off if you share your device with your children. 📱 If they have a device of their own, you can set their hoopla account to 'kids mode" and require secret a pin number to turn off the setting. 🔐

"Kids mode" in Hoopla restricts access to materials so that your kids can only borrow and read books that are appropriate for ages 12 and under. 🤓📖

Here's how to turn it on:

1. Open the Hoopla app and select the "Kids" button on the top right.

2. Select your option. This is where you can choose to set up a pin to unlock kids mode on a device.
